Eligibility 
Applicants for the Supportive Living Home must be:
- 16-24 years of age
- Pregnant with or raising a child/children
- Demonstrate the need for transitional housing
- Capable to adjusting to a group living situation
- Positive about participation in educational classes and other House activities
- Willing to attend education or employment training with the goal of achieving economic independence
Applicants for the Permanently Supportive Housing Apartments must:
- Must have completed a residential Life Skills Program and demonstrate stability
- Pregnant with or raising a child/children
- Legally eligible to enter into a contract/lease
- Capable of following program guidelines
- Must have secured income in order to pay rent and other basic living costs
Program Rules
Mountain Home Montana is designed to be a warm, safe environment that truly feels like home. Like a home, there are rules, expectations and chores to complete. Residents will be expected to:
- Abide by Program rules
- Complete weekly chores
- Attend weekly Case Management
- Attend Life Skills Class, House Meeting, Self-Development Group and Play Group
- Eat dinner with the house
- Participate in Job Training Program
- Meet with an outside parenting source and Public Health Nurse
- Agree to confidentiality rules
- Refrain from using drugs, tobacco or alcohol on or off campus
- Submit to drug and alcohol testing
A few other rules:
- Resident guests and visitors must comply with Mountain Home Montana Visitor Policies
- No overnight guests
- Pets are not allowed
